Bad and Breath

  • Are you worried that your breath smells bad?
  • Do you wonder why certain foods make your breath smell worse?
  • Do you suffer from bad morning breath?
  • And, perhaps worst of all, do you avoid intimate conversations or kissing because you’re afraid what people will think?

If you answered YES to any of the above, I know how you feel because I suffered from bad breath from the age of 14 until I finally found a permanent solution 29 years later!

I can’t believe it took me that long to get rid of my problem, especially after all the dentists, oral hygienists and nutritionists I consulted and the countless fresh breath products I tried. As you can appreciate, I became extremely self-conscious about my breath and lacked confidence in myself.

Luckily, I read an article just like this one and within 24 hours of using the recommended oral care products – a special kind of oxygenating toothpaste and mouthwash – my bad breath problem was gone. Completed eliminated. I was astonished.

So, what are oxygenating products and why do they work so well?

Before I answer that question, it may help to understand what causes foul breath in the first place.

Apparently, the majority of bad breath problems are caused by special kinds of bacteria called anaerobic bacteria that thrive in places that lack oxygen (such as the back of your throat and even in your tonsils).

The reason these bacteria cause bad breath is because they produce bad-smelling and foul-tasting volatile sulfur compounds (the same as when you eat sulfur-containing garlic or onions and get garlic or onion breath). And for unknown reasons, certain people have larger amounts of these bacteria, so they are more prone to bad breath.

Tonsil stones, also known as tonsilloliths, are caused by an accumulation of sulfur-producing bacteria and debris that become lodged in the tonsils. The debris, which can include mucous from post nasal drip, putrefies in the back of your throat and collects in the tonsil crypts (small pockets which appear on the surface of the tonsils).

  • Bad Breath and Smoking
For most of us, there’s a clear correlation between bad breath and smoking: if you smoke, you will have an offensive tobacco odor on your breath that all non-smokers will detect if they are close enough.
