Is The Pill For Bad Breath A Decent Solution?

If you are in any way familiar with the shopping channel on television, then you have surely seen many of the infomercials that boast the next best cure for halitosis — the pill for bad breath. Although we would like to believe there is a pill for bad breath, chances are it is mostly an herbal supplement that may or may not deliver a portion of the promised results in whatever amount of time that is currently offered, but most people are wiser than that, and realize that a pill for bad breath is merely a glorified breath mint. Minty in flavor or not, a pill for bad breath is not something that truly exists, simply because most of the causes of halitosis, or bad breath are of such a wide variety, how is it possible to put one single cure in a pill for bad breath that supposedly covers so many different causes.

A pill for bad breath is basically as silly as it sounds. Simply a mint will do, or perhaps a stick of gum, but as for completely curing halitosis or bad breath, a medication will absolutely not do this. Put your credit cards away, and leave the infomercials alone — a capsule that can cure halitosis is an oxymoron at best, considering that there are actually medications that are the cause of bad breath, so taking a pill for bad breath caused by a pill — it seems almost redundant, and contradictory at the same time.

Some of these companies that offer a pill for bad breath are trying to push their product into the public eye in hopes of redefining the overall definition of halitosis, by offering a quick fix solution that may or may not work for everyone. That would be the notification, most usually in tiny print at the bottom of any literature, however it covers a multitude of sins, or in this case embarrassing moments from halitosis. By making the aforementioned statement, they are relieving themselves of any responsibility if their product does not give the desired results, or perhaps even results in worsening said condition. These companies are able to claim the persons condition is either too severe for the product to work and to be successful, or merely their usage of it as such was flawed. No matter what angle you look from, a medical solution of this variety is a ridiculous idea. This is especially true when the cause of a person’s halitosis is from a pill to begin with, or when an ulcer or liver damage is the true cause of the problem. When this happens, products which claim to cure halitosis in this manner are dangerous because they are masking the true problem.

Some medications and herbal supplements are the biggest factor in, and the cause of halitosis. Certain chemotherapy treatments cause halitosis, and a medication is not a viable option in this circumstance. Mixing these largely unknown ingredients in these capsules with a genuine cancer treatment or other form of medical treatment can result in a severe situation requiring medical attention.

Try not to fall into the traps of those advertising a pill for bad breath, since most usually it is only a scam to rid you of your money. Buying into the ‘pill for bad breath’ can very well result in leaving you with an awful taste in your mouth.
