Kissing With Bad Breath
Kissing with bad breath will do nothing for your love life. It doesn’t matter how good looking or charming you are. If your breath smells foul, people will want to keep away from you. I don’t believe that it is anything to do with wanting to offend, it is just an instinct we humans have when we catch a bad smell. We cannot get away from the source of it fast enough.
And that source of it is you. Even if you know you have a problem with your breath, and suck a mint before kissing, it will only mask the smell and it will be obvious to the other person what you have tried to do.
The problem for a person with bad breath, is that the self confidence takes a rapid nose dive when we are rejected in this way. A look of disgust on the other person’s face is all it takes. For some people this kind of hit to their self confidence can be hard to recover from quickly.
What happens when you try to kiss that person again on another occasion? How do you know for sure whether that person will not react in the same way this time, if you try and kiss him or her? The difficulty is that we cannot smell our own breath. There is so much which is unsaid on these personal and intimate occasions, and we depend more on non verbal communication, particularly facial expressions and general peace of mind between the two of you.
In short, if your spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend looks uncomfortable when you attempt to kiss, something is wrong. Kissing with bad breath should avoided.
