Number One Bad Breath Remedy

“How To Cure Bad Breath In 3 Days & Have Strong Healthy Teeth & A Sparkling White Smile For The Rest Of Your Life”

Which bad breath remedy should you try first? There really are so many different options and solutions so where should you really start? The answer isn’t sexy or clever. It is simply this –  better oral hygiene.

I don’t want to offend anyone here and I don’t want to imply that your bad breath is definitely caused by poor hygiene but in so many cases this is the root cause so it makes sense for us to address it.

If you’ve got a killer routine together then that’s awesome but still it doesn’t hurt to recap. And besides it’s got to be better to find a simple, cheap fix than spend time and money chasing something else unnecessarily.

The quick recap on basic oral hygiene:

Brush your teeth, gums and tongue at least twice per day and ideally after each meal. This helps get rid of the traces of uneaten food and the odor causing bacteria. These bacteria live on all of these surfaces, especially the tongue.

Most people really do neglect to clean the tongue. Maybe they think it’s a gimmick created by the toothbrush companies but this should not be overlooked. You could purchase a special brush or device but I find my regular toothbrush seems to work fine. Just don’t push too hard or go crazy you might get a few inflamed taste buds.

Flossing helps get rid of the food trapped between your teeth. It also cleans below the gum line and helps loosen and air the gums. Floss before you brush so you can clean and remove the stuff you loosen up.

Use mouthwash daily. My dentist has strong opinions on this one and there seems to be some debate both about effectiveness and the safety of this. I’ll leave that decision to you and your dentist but I think it’s worth mentioning that an antibacterial rinse is a great odor eliminating tool. It not only helps reduce the number of live bacteria but also gets in those places that flossing and brushing cannot.

There is some evidence that suggests using an alcohol based mouthwash will actually worsen bad breath so keep that in mind when selecting the right product for you.

Pay a visit to your dentist or oral hygienist twice a year. It’s a great chance for them to check things out and catch any problems early or better yet prevent them altogether. Prevention is a lot cheaper than cure when it comes to teeth. This goes beyond bad breath naturally. Regular check ups can help catch early signs of oral cancer, disease and problems with your jaw.

It’s easy to get carried away with all the options and overlook the basics. Checking these things first will give you a great foundation for your overall oral health.
