Bad breath is very common. That is why there are so many high priced items out on the market today. You can get gum, drops, mints, sprays, tongue strips, tooth paste and mouth wash all claiming to do one thing. Get rid of your bad breath. If your oral hygiene is good, then bad breath is because of one reason. That’s gastrointestinal health. This means that the bad breath is not just in your mouth. If heads all the way down to your digestive tract. No matter which reason you have bad breath, they both are from bacteria growth. So that means all them high priced items only mask your problem. None of them will help fix your problem. Did you know that there are some foods that can help cure your bad breath? These are not over priced items that will mask it, but these are things that will help you get rid of this problem.

1. Fresh Herbs- Yes you can munch on fresh herbs throughout the day to get better smelling breath. If you don’t want to munch on them throughout the day then you can add them to your favorite drink. Hot drink would be a lot better the cold drinks. Things like rosemary, cardamom, spearmint and tarragon will help. As an added bonus they will help your digestive tract. If you drink tea in the morning, make it a daily thing to add a fresh herb in it.

2. Vitamin C- Any kind of fruit that is high in vitamin C such as melons, berries and citrus fruit will help your bad breath. They are also very helpful in preventing gingivitis and other gum diseases. You should be getting these from your foods though and not from supplements which can cause gastrointestinal which causes bad breath.

3. Yogurt- Now when I say yogurt I am not talking about the kind that is filled with sugar. You need the kind with active cultures. Yogurt and other milk products are filled with Vitamin D which helps prevent a nice environment for bacteria growth which causes gastrointestinal. It also helps with plaque and gum disease.
